Clemens Auersperg

Clemens Auersperg joined OEP in 2026 and is an Operating Partner based in Madrid with a primary focus on driving value creation across portfolio companies.
Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Auersperg spent 10 years at McKinsey & Company, where he was a Partner and leader in its European Private Capital Practice. During his tenure at McKinsey, he supported private equity investors on transactions and partnered with portfolio company management teams on strategy, operational efficiency, growth, and M&A.
Mr. Auersperg holds a B.A. from Columbia University (magna cum laude), an M.Phil. in Management from Cambridge Judge Business School, and an M.Phil. in Economic and Social History from the University of Cambridge.
Operating Partners may receive fees, compensation, expense reimbursements or incentive compensation from portfolio companies, prospective portfolio companies and/or the applicable OEP fund directly, which do not offset the management fees paid by an OEP fund.
