Michael Lange
Operating Partner
Michael Lange joined OEP in 2022 and is an Operating Partner and a member of the ESG Committee based in Frankfurt with a focus on supporting portfolio companies in the value creation process.
Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Lange spent 8 years with McKinsey & Company as a Partner and leader in their Private Equity Practice in Germany and EMEA where he supported private equity clients and their portfolio companies across sectors in strategy, operational improvement, as well as M&A. He led the PE Portfolio Support Service Line in Germany as well as the Private Equity-Industrials JV. Before joining McKinsey, Mr. Lange was a Project Manager in the Restructuring/Corporate Finance division of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he was responsible for corporate restructuring projects across different industries in Europe. Mr. Lange graduated from Goethe University Frankfurt with a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Lange is a member of the Board of Directors of enthus, VASS, MSQ, and Kirey, as well as a Board Observer at DWK and Bibliotheca.
