Pietro Sorrentino

Pietro Sorrentino joined OEP in 2025 and is an Operating Partner based in New York City with a focus on supporting portfolio companies in the value creation process.
Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Sorrentino spent 13 years with McKinsey & Company as a Partner and leader in their Turnaround Practice in the US where he supported clients across sectors launch, execute, and sustain large-scale transformation programs (across both cost reduction and revenue growth). Before joining McKinsey, Mr. Sorrentino was a Consultant in the Financial Services division of Oliver Wyman in Italy, where he focused on both strategy and risk management work across Europe and Africa.
Mr. Sorrentino graduated from Bocconi University in Milan and holds a BSc and a MSc in Economics and Statistics. Mr. Sorrentino also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City.
Operating Partners may receive fees, compensation, expense reimbursements or incentive compensation from portfolio companies, prospective portfolio companies and/or the applicable OEP fund directly, which do not offset the management fees paid by an OEP fund.
